I was with a former high school classmate this weekend. He told me that he has been going to visit another former classmate 3X per week for the past 4 months. This other classmate–the one he visits–is in a permanent care facility now and will not be able to return to his home or to independent living. The classmate who was telling me this says that he plans on going to see the one who is in the care facility indefinitely.

I am a 78 year old man living alone. I am disabled and I also had a minor stroke a couple weeks ago. I was having concerns about getting up at night to go to the bathroom and had fell a couple times. Late yesterday evening my doorbell rang and when I answered it I found Bob on my door step, He came in and installed an Echo Dot in my bedroom and added a light in the Bathroom that is controlled by Alexa from my bed. I have known Bob for several years. He is President of Rio Grande Kennel Club here

My husband asked if he wanted to try a jump, and so my husband pulled out his jumper cables, and that was it! Got his car going so the man and his wife could be on their way!

An elderly woman peeked through the window and I said loudly the garage door was open. When she went to the garage she shouted a really big thank you and that she was thankful I let her know.

I am in self quarantine until March 31st so I can’t go anywhere. Yesterday I told my friend Jennifer H. that the only thing I needed was distilled water for my humidifier. Today she called to tell me she was at the store and asked how many I needed. I told her I only needed 2. They were on my doorstep within 20 minutes. Thanks, Jennifer! I appreciate you!!!

Bought and pair for an item over the phone from a local business today. I’ve never been in the store before and it was my first time buying anything from them. I asked the person on the phone to mail the item to me because I wasn’t sure when I’d have time to pick it up. When I got home tonight, there was a bag hanging from my front door handle… someone had personally delivered it to my house.
